It’s Time to Move — Survival Isn’t Your Home | WHEN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM ONLY TRUSTS THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO

It’s Time to Move — Survival Isn’t Your Home | WHEN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM ONLY TRUSTS THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO

Survival was never meant to be your permanent address. It was a hallway — narrow, temporary and meant to lead you somewhere better. But somewhere along the way you started decorating it. You hung pictures on the walls of your pain, laid rugs over the cracks of your brokenness and convinced yourself this was home.

You got used to the chaos. You got used to bracing yourself for impact, to walking on eggshells, to shrinking so you could fit in spaces that were never designed for your expansion. Survival became familiar and familiar started to feel safe — but it was never meant to hold your healing.

The Hallway Was Never Home

The hallway was only meant to get you from one place to another. It was never meant to hold you forever. Healing lives outside of these walls. Joy, freedom and peace are waiting in the rooms beyond this narrow corridor. But you have to make the choice to walk through the door.

What You Must Leave Behind

That means packing up the habits that kept you small. Leaving behind the relationships that kept you broken. Unhooking the beliefs that told you you weren’t worthy of more.

No Apologies

You don’t have to apologize for leaving survival behind. You don’t have to explain to anyone why you’re choosing peace over pain. This isn’t about them. This is about you — the version of you that’s been waiting for permission to live, not just exist.

It’s Time

It’s time to move. Step out of the hallway. Stop calling it home. And open the door to your healing.
