About the Designer & Creator of ProjectME Gems

I didn’t create ProjectME Gems in a boardroom.
I created it in the middle of real life — the kind that tests your strength, carves out your
wisdom and dares you to rise again.
I’m Kenya Young, PMP — strategist, author and ecosystem builder behind the ProjectME by KMY universe. I created the Hope Anxiety™ framework, developed the HAS-10 clinical
assessment and founded the empowerHER Legacy Institute for Entrepreneurship
Excellence, where my work helps high-functioning, high-capacity women heal the fear of
hope and build lives they actually feel safe enjoying.
ProjectME Gems is where all of that healing work became wearable.
I didn’t set out to build just another jewelry line. I was a woman in the thick of motherhood, grief and responsibility, trying not to break under the weight of it all. What kept me going were tiny lifelines — the “positive gems” I repeated to myself when the anxiety got loud: you’re still worthy, still powerful, still becoming. When I couldn’t find those reminders in a form I could carry every day, I started making them myself.
That’s how ProjectME Gems was born.
Every piece I design is a message first and a necklace second — a lifeline you can clasp
around your neck when you’re grieving, healing, hustling or quietly rebuilding your life
from the ground up. These are not just accessories. They’re wearable armor for women who refuse to just survive. Women who are still becoming. Women who know they were built for more.
From the studio to the boardroom to the pages of my book When Hope Feels Dangerous, my mission is the same: to turn language that heals into tools you can actually use —
frameworks, workshops and now, jewelry that whispers the truth back to you when doubt
tries to take over.
Welcome to ProjectME Gems — where fashion becomes your daily affirmation and every
piece is a reminder that you are still called, still capable and still in the game.
XOXO,
Kenya Young
